Suvendu Kumar Behera is an experienced Production Engineer currently working at HealthifyMe. With over 5 years of experience in the information technology and services industry, he has demonstrated expertise in various areas such as Oracle Database, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD), Amazon Web Services (AWS), New Relic, and Shell Scripting. Suvendu holds a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from Biju Patnaik University of Technology, Odisha. He has a strong engineering background and is skilled in various technologies such as infra, CI/CD, AWS, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Terraform, New Relic, Integration, Web, DevOps, Microservices, test, Python, and MySQL. In his current role at HealthifyMe, Suvendu has been responsible for various key projects, including the migration of a DB table from INT type to BIGINT, without any downtime. He has also conducted POCs of various 3rd party datapipeline tools and identified some serious security concerns. Additionally, he has converted the entire infrastructure to IaC using Terraform. Prior to his current role, Suvendu worked as a Software Engineer at Workindia, where he was responsible for setting up Kubernetes from scratch, including monitoring with Grafana stack (Prometheus, Loki, Promtail), and setting up Jenkins to launch microservices smoothly using Kubernetes and HELM charts. He reduced the launch time from two days to just one hour without any intervention from a DevOps Engineer. Suvendu's education history includes a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from Biju Patnaik University of Technology, Odisha.
